I work for ConMed and could get any smart phone for free and 30% discount on every phone bill with Verizon, and AT&T.... I got a Medical field discount
That's a sweet deal and same for other medical-affiliated companies, they usually have good business to business deals such as discounts on phones, other consumer electronics. For example, I can get 10-20% off Alienware computers through Dell's business account.
Also,

I can get an AT&T prepaid phone from Walmart

for 100 big ones

which is a great deal and I pay 10 dollars every few weeks or so. The money I save using prepaid, I use for video games and coffee or to my comcast bill. With that money, I can also buy Khmer food from Queen's Deli located in West Seattle (the hood) because I cannot cook the kind of khmer food my momma be making. I actually save 1200 usd a year going with prepaid and you guys can too. That money can go towards your kitchen remodel or that new clutch you been wanting to buy for your car

My basic budgeting principles is to allocate available funds towards the most important expenses to the least important...but anyways, I miss the old days when a phone is simply used to make a call but now we pay so much for it to also act like a computer. I can see 10 years from now, a phone will also have advance weapons capabilities just in case you get mugged in the street or electrodes to defibrillator heart, maybe a bomb sniffer? who knows....
Am I the only one who uses a cell phone to just make a call? I don't do anything else with it. So what do you guys do with your smart phones? I be interested hearing your stories.
