Oh that's good to hear that he is super famous and super rich. I always assume that when you are acting in TV series you make quite a lot. I guess I was wrong.

I read somewhere on Forbes list of highest paid TV actors and actresses. For the male actor the highest paid was Ashton Kutcher from two and a half men making $26 million per year for some 22-24 episodes. For the highest female it was Sophia vergara from modern family she makes $37 million per year for an average of 23-24 episodes. I thought that was crazy! Each episode is about 30mins each and they make that much per year. The episodes don't require that much acting to it either.

Tvb pay their actors in chips lol, highest pay one are not even compare to the mainland's supporting actor,

They usually make money on the side, like showing up to events, or if they are lucky they get sponsor by a major company.
