omg...I dunno since I don't travel that much...however u ought to google for more informations or talk to airline/travel agency. or better yet try to go to youtube and then check out little informations. It is all depend on you and how you are planning for your parent in side state or outside country. talk to your co-workers/relatives can also help you planned.

Does that question mean you're looking for a good deals on cruise fares? If yea, here are some sites you might want to consider to looking for best deals. They're basically search engines like Orbitz, Cheapflights, Expedia, or Kayak of cruise fares. I got them through a Google search btw.

I heard older folks are more likely to go for the Carnival Cruise. so maybe it could meet your dad's (assuming he's 55+) expectations since he'd around more mature peeps. Don't take my words for it, this is just what I HEARD.

I personally have gone on the Royal Caribbean and there were lots of immature people on there, including me. Lots of alcohol, games, activiites, etc happening on the cruise.

Where is the cruise taking your dad? All cruises have a destination. The cruise I went to was to Mexico. I stayed there 1 night, so I prepared whatever clothing I needed for the activities I participated there. Some cruises just takes you to the city of your destination for only a few hours. Others take you deep sea and you stay "stranded" for x amount of hours until you return back to port where you came from.

Pack whatever you need as if you're going on any other trip. Just be aware of the weather and such. Not sure what other advice I can give you on packing. Umm, tell him not to forget to take his medications? haha i don't know.

Seriously, when you're on a cruise, most likely you'll be out doing something, not inside your room.
