Hi Goupon,
I have a cousin whom live at Cambodia and would like to visit USA….
My cousin who live in USA would like to be a sponsor.
I did some researches last night I have found site
http://travel.state.gov/content/visas/english/visit/visitor.html
Based what I understand this FormDS-160 for my cousin whom live at Cambodia
Need to fill out… please confirm or provide with the correct form#
I was wondering what form # that My cousin who live in USA ( whom is a sponsor) need to fill out though…..please advise or any suggestions…
thank so much for sharing your experience with meFrom my experience, its very hard to do but not impossible. I guess its on a case by case basis and how much bribe you're willing to offer. My family had tried to do this for my uncle's mother in law in PP, but was denied. They gave us no reason, just flat out said no. We didn't bribe them, so I'm guessing that was the reason. Just sharing my personal experience. We just wanted her to visit America before she die and they wouldn't even let her because we didnt slip them some dough lol....So you might want to bribe them or have some sort of secret connection with them.
no problem, I heard they were rude and mean to her at the interview, she went twice I believe.thank so much for sharing your experience with me
my cousin is an idiot and I no longer speak with him, I will not be passing this imformation to him. I hope he rots in hell....Yes, your cousin in USA can file the DS-160 for the person in srok Khmer. What the USA person need is the first page of Khmer passport so everything match on the record. This is a B2 visa. After finished, page the confirmation page and go setup interview date at https://evisaforms.state.gov/default.asp?postcode=PHP&appcode=3
Thank you so much for all your help, Goupon dear..... hope you do mind me hugging though, since you are very much in help us...In order to visit America: General rule of thumb and this does not mean US/Khmer Embassy will grant visa. As Happy stated, they have option to not even bother review your paperwork and deny you on the spot. no question asked. The deny usually stated under section 214(b). A simple term of section 214(b) mean, they don't believe in you, period. But you can always reply DS-160. Usually, the 2nd round always a green light . Part of making money.
Here are some tips:
The main point is try to convince the interviewer that you will definitely come back
- have bank account
- prove/convince that you will go back to srok Khmer
- What's holding you back from not staying in USA?
- Show document(s) that you have business and need to come back to homeland
- Have children to take care off
- The purpose of their trip is to enter the U.S. for business, pleasure, or medical treatment;
- That they plan to remain for a specific, limited period;
- Evidence of funds to cover expenses in the United States;
- Evidence of compelling social and economic ties abroad; and
- That they have a residence outside the U.S. as well as other binding ties that will insure their return abroad at the end of the visit.
