Peace is doing all that I need to do in good conscience.

I'm not at peace at the moment. I feel very troubled. I need peace of mind.

I feel at peace sitting in a clean spacious place with no argument or noise. Enjoying my favorite dish and watching a good Chinese series. Relaxing in a big comfortable bed is a plus. :D

It took me a decade to find inner peace. I had to fight for it, tooth and nails.

I define it by having a sense of calmness that you feel in your mind and body. For that moment, I forget all things that bothers me and I seem to enjoy whatever I'm doing more. I get more immerse into the series I'm watching, the games I'm playing or whatever I'm reading. Nothing is forced, everything comes naturally and effortless. I don't care about nothing else except what I'm doing in that moment. Inner peace helps with focus and concentration and well as blood circulation. In fact, inner peace is what I strive for, every waking moment of my life is dedicated to finding my inner peace.

My idea of peace is different it must be beyond self.... while one inner self peace is very important component in life and it would be very good to achieve ( I have yet to master this myself... :-( ) ability to forget & forgive live in harmony with each other.. Accept differences among us are much more importance... inner self peace tends to lead to selfishness? I found among the elder who practice or believe in Buddhism tend to lean too much towards self somewhat conflict with nationalism. This is my opinion only not a criticism I am a Buddhis but not entirely agreed with some of the practice of my elders.

Imagine a society where we live in would tolerate differences… respect each other we would have peace… peaceful society led to prosperity and equity giving us all equal opportunity to explore our wellbeing and opportunity.. sounded like socialism isn’t but I hate communist the most but I do feel bad for the under privilege, for so long many Khmer people lost that opportunity and above all lost much of the self respect and moving more and more towards selfishness.

Apology for those who may take offense of what I said it is not intend as a criticism. Sincerely yours.

that's pretty deep, Okhmer. Reminds me of Confucius's teaching.

Seeing my dog sleeping like this gives me peace because it reminds me that I"m being a good dog owner. When I first got her from the pound as a 6 month old puppy, she was so scared of everything and she never slept peacefully.
