It's adapted from a game. They skip part 2 and 4 because the producers don't want to adapt those games.

You will just have to give it a try, I think I may be old for this type of series now lol. I think I am aging with the actors, and following into more serious work. But who knows if I get really bored, this maybe something of interest. I am actually more interesting in The legend of Qin, Lu Yi's character seems very interesting.

@Ironfingers This and Legend of Qin is my most anticipated series of 2016. Believe me, I'm in my 30's, so I'm not getting any younger either. lol But the way I see it, as long as it has an interesting story, I'll watch it regardless. I'm completely open to these newer actors. Plus I think the costumes here are quite stylish and fun. We'll see how it goes.

I like their live-adaptation design more. Especially that girl in pink, she's too revealing in the game. lol

And congrats to me! I'm a commoner now as of this post and no longer a beggar. I was feeling poor.

It will be a while before there is a Khmer dub version, as this hasn't even release in China yet.

As for sppci, I believe they stop releasing their stuff on disc because they want to get people to subscribe to their spptv service. Also probably to avoid people copying their disc or uploading it. Providing their own service like netflix is a neat idea, except I'm not sure about the quality of their video stream. Or the speed of it. I don't know the price either.
