Ok, be prep for 3 games, @ the current site. Let me know when you are ready to join chesscube. There's a learning curve to the site, I suggest you learn to navigate through it on your spare time, maybe get use to the community. It used to be free but now they started charging a small fee if you want to play unlimited number of games. But they'll give you about 20 free games a day. It's also a "gambling" site where you play for "cubits" which you can then cash out for actual currency. Very competitive players there.
My five dollars will usually get me a few hundreds games or so, If I don't wager a lot of "cubits." Here's how it works, five dollars will get you, about 5000 cubits. Each game, they charge you 15 cubits to play, win or lose. You can choose to wager more cubits on top of that.
Approx 5000 cubits @ 15 cubits per game will yield about 330 games. Just a heads up so you don't freak out. The system isn't all too bad. Before, the entire site was free but they want a return on their investment. There's also an online store you can purchase videos and other chess-related items. The only qualm I have is that the site doesn't offer a tactics trainer.
I'm a little tired of playing on the site, so I prefer the one where using. Chesscube is worth a shot since you prefer 15 minutes games to allow more time to think. Just let me know when you're set up there, is all.
Chesscube has real time chat, nice.
