This reminds me of a Bible verse: 'the swift does not always win the race, the mighty the battle, nor do the wise always get the food...' And by extension we can say, the graduates with a degree don't always get the job. I feel sorry for the guy. Times are getting hard and harder by the day.
Colleges and universities need to be reformed. They just don't prepare us well for work. I got training from my internship. Even then, I wasn't shown the whole rope, just the easy stuff. And sadly, not every student gets hired by the internship place. Demand, apparently, is low while there is large amount of graduates competing for the same job with everybody else. Still yet, technology has replaced manpower either completely or partially. And then there's outsourcing. Without a job, we'd all be homeless, sooner rather than later.
