These next few photos were taken when we decided to hike to Garibaldi Lake. It was the longest hike I've ever did. The hike itself to the lake is about 9 km so it's about 18 km round trip. At the start of the trail, it was about 12:00pm local time and 72 degrees F.
Apparently my brother in law isn't very athletic so every hike we did we had to wait up for him to rest occasionally.
Just 2 km to go!
This bridge looks dangerous. The ice and snow is melting so it could collapse and dump us in the stream.
Yeah! 1 km to go!
And so we took a short break to eat. It was really cold up here. I think it was about 35 degrees F. It was also very windy so we couldn't stay long as we're not dress for it.
And thus we started descent back to the parking lot.
We finally made it back after 7.5 hours!
We couldn't resist but stop and take some photos on our way back to the hotel.
And of course we end the day with some good food to get all the proteins to help heal our aching muscles.

It's been awhile but I've been really busy IRL but I'll start doing some random picture updates. You'll notice that my pictures get's better as the years pass. I'll be busy again in May as I'll start traveling again.
