Thanks for the hint. This is my actual thought process.
Here's the deal. This sounds like a catch-22.
So we start with a word, any word, and then add two letters to shorten it.
But once you add 2 letters, any word, would gets longer not shorter.....
The word in question is "shorter" might have a double-meaning here. hmmm...
Is it a Catch-22? hmmm....
A word that gets shorter.... by adding letters? hmm...
No clue man.
Ah ha! The word is short!
