I just mentioned The New Adventure of Chor Lau Heung in another thread. I'll recommend it to anyone who hasn't watched it yet. It's got a swoon-worthy hero and an ultra cool villain--what more can you wish for?

For Kdrama, there are a handful that I like but one that immediately comes to mind is You're Beautiful. It's a pure fun drama. You will smile a lot watching it. All the guys are hot too. It's considered an idol drama; it might be too silly for some.

Chinese series

great storyline from beginning to end. The actors were great too. It's a series you stay up until 4 in the morning to watch. genre: drama, love, action, not funny
