Khmer Superstitions

What are some khmer superstitions you have? My family told me numerous superstitions. I would just like to know if it is the same or similar.

Here are some

- No haircut or eyebrows done on Tuesday and Wednesday
- Seeing red or blood in a dream is considered good luck
- if you are seeing numbers in a dream go buy the lottery with those numbers the next day
- dont bring turtle items into the house, it's a sign of bad luck
- if you see someone in a dream whose teeth is hurting/broken/falling out it means the person in reality has an illness or dying

Hmm maybe this is too much information, but my mom say not to shower when you're on your monthly. She said it makes your skin old faster.

I don't believe her though.

I heard about the blood, the teeth fall, and the numbers for lottery. Except I don't remember my number after I woke up. So it won't do anything good for me. I believe in eyes and lips twitching. Any of those I know I am going to have a fight with my husband.

The eye twitching seems to work with me 80% of the time.

That is an interesting one. I don't think I heard about that one. Too bad there is no for sure way to see if it is true.

The eye twitching seems to work with me 80% of the time.

For the left eye twitching, I don't really believe it that much since my eyes rarely twitch, but my mother believes in that. Left eye twitching means bad luck.

Heard that its differences for everyone, but the left eyes is bad for me.
My right eyes twitch, something good usually happens.

Yes it is more like your eyes twitching. Mine did on my upper lip. I never heard anybody told me anything about it before. But I just have my own observation. And each time it is right in the target for me. Are you into it lovepink? I do into some extend. I am more into fen shui

Never heard most of the superstitions above till now; but heard of left eye and right eye twitching though.
Have seen ladies rubbed their boobs against the screen of slot machine to get a good luck at the Casino.
They even said, " Come on baby give it to me; I could rubbed you all night long. "

no, I don't think my lips ever twitched like that. I think the only time that happens is when it is -40 Celsius here in Canada my lips start to twitch when im shivering. I do believe in the left eye bad luck sign though.

What if that someone I see is me??? I dream about losing my teeth every so often, it scares me.

What if that someone I see is me??? I dream about losing my teeth every so often, it scares me.

im actually not sure about that one. My mom only told me about seeing someone else in the dream. When my mom saw the relative in her dream, she called that person the next day and it turns out they have been in and out of the hospital for weeks.

I wouldnt worry too much about it since i dreamt about my teeth falling too and nothing has happened to me.

i heard something similar if you eating in the dark/dim light you are inviting ghosts to eat with you.
