Cambodia Still Lack Education?

I'm starting this thread to keep awareness of people that many Khmer people still lack education now, present days. So imagine those in the past, 2 years ago, etc?

The United State people with kind heart are still on the process of helping with donation to help make our country grow and advance. My dad have many traveling videos for sork Khmer where people help with donating for varies things, not just for school, but I will have to pick it up later to upload since I already visit him this weekend. Those horrible story will have to wait, but in the meantime, I was able to find a recent video on the internet to share on Khmer people still in needs for education.

There are many local folks around here that have been donating money and helping out with creating new schools and temples in Cambodia, which is a great thing. But at the same time, I feel like we need to help ourselves in the US too. Many people my age around here are setting bad examples to the new generation kids.

Sorry Rei, Cambodia has more of the majority vote that call for all the help they can get.

your states should have a khmer society group that figured out what they will be doing with certain donation. You need to be a part of their fundraising group to give input on where the proceeds should goes to.

I say starts getting involved within your community to see whats going on. It's the best ways to get your voice heard.

I'm glad those kids have a nice safe place to go learn at. soon..
The Khmer community back home will starts becoming better when those educated generation grows up.

It will take time , but you will bypass those tough times Rei.
You have others that will support you on the side.

If only I had extra money, I'm living day to day same as anyone.
Sometimes, you just have to be self-preserved. It sounds fuck up I know but that's life - survival of the fittest.
My heart goes out to the unfortunate but at the end of the day, I gotta make sure I'm alive and well.

Looking at the big picture, I'm glad Cambodia has been improving and those Children will have a school to get education.

Great strides has been made in srok Khmer, thank the Angkor gods!
